My passion for photography has been inspired by the beauty of nature and driven by my persistent curiosity. I set out to train my eye as an enthusiastic outdoor person when young – my camera firmly with me for each and every endeavour. I occasionally freelanced for local media and as a wedding photographer, produced numerous travel reportages and slide shows. I deepened and broadened my photographic spectrum at the cap photo school in Zurich.

People and nature are still the focus of my photographic work today. In addition to portrait photography, dance photography has increasingly become an important component.

My background as a geographer, explorer, teacher and tour guide has provided me with the experience and capacity to swiftly cope well with any type of new and complex situation whilst bearing in mind the essentials. Quality is paramount in my work. Thus, only just when I see a smile on the face of my customer am I also contented.
